Wolfgang Werner, principal at Urban Fabrick, will be one of the keynote speakers at the German-American Innovation Seminar 2016: Energy Efficiency in Buildings on December 6, 2016 in Brooklyn. The event takes place at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and is sponsored by the German American Chamber of Commerce.
Wolfgang is excited to present an overview of the German-American Energy Efficiency Industry. This past June, Wolfgang led a green-building themed tour of Lower Manhattan for a German delegation of academics and company representatives that attended the GACC Smart Cities Symposium at the German House (the UN mission and consulate in NYC). Apparently, they liked the tour so much that they tapped Wolfgang to be their “German Ambassador” for Energy Efficiency in NYC.
A select group of German companies from the field of architecture and green building technologies and services will present their latest energy products and projects.
Company presentations include:
– Wolfgang Werner, Urban Fabrick, Inc.
– Jonathan Lemmond, Baumann Consulting
– Armin Hauer, ebm-papst Inc.
– Bakhtiyor Ubaydullaev, Viessmann Manufacturing Company US Inc.
– Enrica Oliva, Werner Sobek New York Corp.
The event has an educational focus aimed at engaging and inspiring the next generation of architects and engineers. Additional seminars directed at faculty and students will take place at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) and Farmingdale State College.
