Urban Fabrick Team Heading to LA for Greenbuild 2016

Greenbuild 2016Urban Fabrick is moving shop to LA next week for this year’s Greenbuild Event! The world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to green building, Greenbuild brings together industry leaders, experts and frontline professionals dedicated to sustainable building. Our team is thrilled to absorb and share new ideas, information and insights.

Principal Bill Worthen will be moderating two talks during the exposition. The first will focus on the connections between on-site water re-use, water infrastructure and society. Part of Urban Fabrick’s ongoing work to translate the importance of water re-use to the wider public, the talk explores both the mechanics and cultural contexts of re-use systems. The second highlights the Urban Fabrick Collaborative’s work on the soon-to-be-published Water Re-use Practice Guide, “The Future of Designing with Water – A Practice Guide for Water Re-use.” A comprehensive look at what it takes to install, manage and promote water re-use across building scales, the guide is an exciting new resource for designers, planners and engineers across the professional spectrum. We’re excited to spread the word!
